Oceanview Vineyard & Farms
Our farm spans across 73 acres of vineyard, farm and forest land in the picturesque town of Port Howe, Nova Scotia. Located minutes from the Northumberland Strait (Heather Beach), it provides the perfect landscape for growing fresh seasonal produce.
The farm has been in existence for more than 15 years growing both wine and table grapes. Since we arrived, in the summer of 2017, we have expanded the farm to include raspberries, blueberries and many varieties of vegetables.
In addition, we have a beautiful sugar shack with a wood burning stove where we produce some of the thickest and most flavourful maple syrup around! Our syrup is 68 BRIX whereas the industry standard is only 66 BRIX. The BRIX determines the flavour and the thickness of the finished product. Our maple syrup sells out fast, so hurry and buy yours at the Pugwash Farmers Market as soon as possible or by contacting us directly!

Meet the Oceanview Family
We’re Paul and June Beaton, the owners of Oceanview Vineyard & Farms. Paul grew up in Inverness County, Cape Breton on a family farm. Using his experience and farming knowledge, we semi-retired to the country and now manage a farm of our own. June was born in the UK and raised in the big city – she’s an animal lover and enjoys all creatures great and small!
We produce healthy fresh vegetables and fruit for sale at the Pugwash Farmers Market. At the beginning of the season (while our produce is growing) we will be selling our maple syrup, preserves and baked goods.
